Two years before Liam appeared in the first Hunger Games film, he was in The Last Song with Miley Cyrus. Liam and Miley's characters fall in love in the film, and the actors fell in love in real life too. Liam and Miley were a star couple until they separated in 2013.

A DELICIOUS DRESS

You might love chocolate, but would you like to wear chocolate clothes? This model is wearing a dress painted with 50 kg of chocolate! It took two weeks to make for a chocolate show in London last year. But wearing it is not easy: you have to keep cool or the dress melts!

ONE DIRECTION AT MADAME TUSSAUDS

Recently, One Direction were transformed into wax figures at the famous London museum, Madame Tussauds. It was a big honour for the group!

1D WAX FIGURES:

In 2013, the five members of One Direction had two sittings with the sculptors who were to create thir wax figures for Madame Tussauds. The sculptors' biggest challenge was to capture the boys' playful, cheeky smiles and show their true personalities.

TAKING HARRY'S MEASUREMENTS:

Here, Harry is having his head measured by the sculptor's assistants. They took around 200 measurements and photos of each of the 1D boys. Zayn, Liam, Harry, Niall and Louis loved the experience!

IT'S LONG BUT FUN!
Lian and the other 1D boys returned tot he studios when the clay heads were ready. They spent 40 minutes sittings beside their models so that the sculptors cold perfect them.

LIAM'S PERFECT SMILE:

To make the teeth for Liam's wax model, Liam had tot bite into dental resin. The mould was then sent to a dental company which specializes in false teeth. The company spent four days making a set of teeth to resproduce Liam's perfect smile.

10. AN EMAIL TO AN INTERNET FORUM

Hi, 

My name is Clàudia Guilana and I live in South London in England. I like the town where I live, so I want to improve it.

Young people spend all their time hanging around on the street. There are sometimes problems with vandalism and graffiti. There isn't anywhere for young people to go. There aren't any facilites for them!

I think the council should do something about this. I'm sure they must have some free locals to make a youth club there, where the young people can go everyday.

11. MY TRIP TO MADRID

Hi, we are Elisabet, Clàudia Vallmajó, Claudia Guilana and Oleg Mumbrú, and last april we went on a trip to Madrid with our ESO 2 classmates.

FIRST DAY:

At 7 o'clock, we went to the school and we took a bus to Girona. There, we waited for the train (AVE) and we recorded some videos. At 11:45 we arrived to Madrid. Another bus took us to a hostel called Motion and we left our luggage there. After that we visited the “Congreso de los Diputados” and some friends like Clàudia Vallmajó, did an oral presentation about it to the class like Clàudia Vallmajó.

At 14:30 we had lunch and at 15:45 we visited the Museo del Prado. Some of our classmates like Claudia G, explained some paintings to the class. When we finished, we went to Parque del Retiro and there we had one hour for free time.

In the afternoon, we visited la Puerta de Alcalá where we sang a song about it. Finally we took an underground to go to la Opera square.

At 20:30 we had dinner at Fresco and we went to the hostel to sleep.

SECOND DAY:

At 09:00 we had breakfast and we went on foot to Puerta del Sol, Palacio Real's gardens and to the Almudena's cathedral. Then we had lunch at Fresco, the same restaurant that we went on the first day. In the afternoon, we went to a presentation about the Xi'an warriors, which was really good. After that, we walked around Plaza Neptuno, Cibeles and the Council of Madrid. When we fiinished, we ate the famous “Bocata de Calamares” in Plaza Mayor. Then we had free time and we went to the hostel to sleep and watch the football match on the TV.

THIRD DAY:

Like the second day we had breakfast and then, we made the luggage. When we finished, we walked along la Gran Via until la Plaza de España. After that, we had free time and we went to the Templo de Debot and the Senado.

At 13:30 we had lunch at the same restaurant called Fresco. After that we came back to the Motion hostel and we took the bags to leave Madrid. We arrived at Atocha Station where we had one hour for free time and bought some sweets. At 16:00, we caught the AVE which took us to Girona. At 20:02, we arrived to Girona and a bus took us to Banyoles. At 20:45 we arrived at school where our parents were waiting for us.

It was a really great trip! We had a lot of fun there!

Estela: Here is Estela calling Clàudia, where are you? You must be right here before 15 min!

Clàudia: asdfs,... Oh sorry....ajsldjal,....I think I'm lost I,... ajslfa,... I don't know where I am.

Estela: Alright, keep calm, describe your situation. We're in the beach in front of the restaurant. Can you see something like an island or a beach?

Clàudia: Mmmm,... there are only cliffs around me and I only see the water! There isn't any island in my zone.

Estela: Oh dear! Well, do you think you can stand up and shout “HELP!” To see if can we hear you?

Clàudia: It's impossible! I think I've broken my leg and my left wrise because it hurts a lot!

Estela: Don't panic! Georgina is calling the helicopter emergency and 3 coastguarders are coming with little boats to found you. I've described him what you told to me and they are coming right now.

Clàudia: Fine but hurry up! I'm scared and I think I've saw a little shark!

Estela: OK OK, but keep calm because over here can't be any sharks. Wait two minutes and I'll talk to you then. OVER AND OUT.

Clàudia: Estela!!!!!! I was right! A shark bite my boat and now is siking! I'm going to die!!!

Estela: Oh my God, ALRIGHT they think they've found you!

Clàudia: I see the helicopter but the shark is going to eat me right now! HEEEEELP!!!

2 min later

Estela: Are you alright Clàudia?! Come on answer me!!

Anonymous: Hi I'm the doctor, Clàudia is alright but it has one arm bitten for the shark, my coworkers and I we are doing the best. In 5 min we arrived over here so keep calm.

EMMA WATSON: The magic contiues

After the Harry Potter films made her the world's most famous witch, Emma Watson wanted to show she had other talents. 

Her next big role, as a cool kik in The Perks of Begin a Wallflower (2012), was very different from the studious Hermione. JENNIFER LAWRENCE IS BACK as Katniss Everdeen in the second Hunger Games film. After winning the 74th competition with Peeta Mellark, Katniss returns home. But now the 75th Games are in preparation and both are forced to participate. It's a special edition of the Games: all the participants are past winners. They must fight to the death in a televised battle. It's a cruel challenge.

Most actresses, if offered a role in The Hunger Games would say "Yes!" without hesitation. Not Jennifer Lawrence. Se was worried that being famous would change her. She thought about the offer for three days, before accepting. Like Katniss in the films, Jennifer became a superstar overnight. But happily, she hasn't changed at all!

GIVE 100 PER CENT:

To prepare for her role in The Hunger Games, Jennifer worked very hard. She trained in archery four times a week, learnt tree and rock climbing, and had fitness and combat coaching. "If I look exhausted in the movie that's definitely real", she says smiling.

BE UNPREDICTABLE:

Jennifer likes to surprise her fans. She plays very different roles from one film to the next. She experiment with new styles. Her hair colour changes from blonde to brown, and she can wear everything from elegant dresses to jeans and simple t-shirts.

LAUGHT AT YOURSELF:

Jennifer admits that she's not perfect. She's naturally clumsy, and fell on the steps when she collected her fist Oscar in front of Hollywood's most important stars. But she reacted to this embarrassing stuation with humour. "You guys are just stnading up because you feel bad that I fell", she said when the audience stood up in her honour.

BE FEARLESS:

Most actresses don't dream fo carrying a shotgun. But Jennifer is fearless: that's exactly what she did in the film Winter's Bone. Millions of fans identified with her challenging, teenage role. It was also preparation for playing Katniss.

With a salay of $10 millioin for the new Hunger Games film, Jennifer is the most successful female action star of all time. But she is modest abut her success. "I'm not saving lives," she says. "There are doctors who save lives and firemen who run into burning buildings. I'm only making movies".

Jennifer hates photographers following her everywhere. She has a difficult relationship with fame. "I'm beginning to feel like a monkey in a zoo", she says. "I am not OK with it. I am just a normal girl and a human being": And that, Jennifer, is exactly why we love you.

The topic of the survey was “Your opinions about the future”. A group of twenty people did the survey and most of them were positive about the future. These are the final results:

Everybody thinks that humans will exist in a million years time, and some of the group think that the world will be a better place because we'll learn to protect the planet. They think we'll be more intelligent in the future.

A lot of people think that space travel will be normal in the next century, and about half of the people in the class, think that humans will live on other planets in the future. Everybody says that they'll travel into space if they have the chance.

6. A BIOGRAPHY (Joaquín)

JOAQUÍN CORTÉS, DANCER.

Joaquín Cortés was born in Córdoba, 1969. He grew up in Madrid in 1981 and in New York 1999. He started dancing at the age of twelve years old, and then he danced in the Spanish National Ballet when he was only fifteen. His most famous shows are 'Pasión Gitana', 'Soul' and 'Live'. People like him because he's explosive, original and very athletic.

5. A BRAVE RESCUE

The rescue happened while we were on holiday in the Himalaya last winter. It was really amazing and I was lucky to get a photo of it.

I was with my family and my best friends and we were climbing up the mountain. We were exploring new plants and new animals when we saw someone asking for help and crying. There was a man with his wife and two little girls and they where shouting. Lots of snow were falling down and it was going to crush them. In fact, my mother was calling at the helicopter and luckily it arrived on timeand escaped from the avalanche.

The people who were at the helicopter were very brave. I could take a photo and I sent it to a contest and I won! That day it was a very brave rescue.

THE OTHERS

Last month we saw the others, a kind of a scary film. Basically I hate scary film because then I can't sleep, but in this case I like it a lot because it was a scary movie for childs and it wasn't scary as much of other films. Here's a little introduction of the film.

So, in the film there was a family, one mother (Grace) and two children (Anne and Nicholas), that they were rich and lived in a huge house. In fact, the father was at the war and they were sad. There were some rules in the house too, which are: all the curtains must be closed when children were there, and every time you enter at one room, you must close the door with the keys. An extra information is that they were very religious and belived in God.

One day arrived new servants at the house which were Lydia, Mrs Mills and Mr Tutrtle. The mother explain them the rules and they promise it all.

So, in the house happened strange things, and only Anne the little girl can see the ghost and she started begin friends with one boy called Victor. When Anne told what was happening her mother didn't belived her and frightened as his brother Grace punished her to ask for forgiveness to Maria, but she didn't want to did it because she wasn't lieing! Finally the mother is going to belived her and lots of thing happening until they knew all the true...

In just three years, Bruno Mars has becaome one of the biggest names in pop music, He has sold more than eight milion albums around the world, and is now Hawaii's most popular export. Burno has many musical styles. There's a rock, rap, and reggae. Hawaiians love reggae music, and many of Bruno's song have a reggae sound.  People often compare Bruno and the King of Pop. Like Michael Jackson, Bruno's voice has exceptional tone and is soulful and clear. Bruno is a superb dancer and comes from a big family. He is also a big fan of hats!

ALEX HEPBURN

From Adele to Amy Winehouse, Britain has a history of producing great female singers. The latest one is Alex Hepburn. You might know the song "Under" from her debut album, Together Alone. Alex's voice has been compared to one of the greatest divas, Janis Joplin.
