4. MY DAILY ROUTINE

MY DAY

On weekdays I get up at 7:00 o’clock every day, I have a shower and I get dressed. I brush my hair and I go downstairs to have breakfast. I usually eat milk with cereals and biscuits, I also have orange juice and toast some days.

I sometimes go to school by bike with my friends. We meet in La Carpa, in front of the lake. But in winter I usually go by car because it’s cold! The school lessons start usually at 9:00 o’clock, except for Fridays when they start at 8:30. We’ve got a lot of lessons every day. My favourite subjects are Science, English, Maths and Music.

At midday I go home to have lunch. There I walk my little dog Brownie and I have lunch with my mum and my brother Aleix. On Wednesdays I stay in the school canteen. After lunch, we’ve got lessons from 15:00 to 17:00.

After school I go home and I do my homework. When I finish it, I watch TV or I chat on the internet with my friends. I have dinner between 21:00 and 22:00. And I go to bed at about 22.30 on weekdays. I love reading a bit before falling asleep.

MY WEEK

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I go to dance lessons. On Fridays, I go to sing in the church with my friends, and I do all the homework for the following week.

MY WEEKEND

On Saturdays I go to my brother football match in the morning. In the afternoon, I sometimes go to the shopping centre with my family or I stay at home watching a film or playing at the Wii with my brother. On Sundays, sometimes I stay at home with my family. And I love it because I can get up late. In the afternoon I go rollerblading or by bike around the lake. But other times we enjoy spending the day out together. We go skiing in winter and we stay at the seaside for the weekends in summer. We also enjoy visiting Barcelona for shopping or discover beautiful places and museums. Finally, in the evening, I prepare my clothes and the bag and I relax at home watching TV listening to music or reading a good book.

MY FAVOURITE DAY

My favourite day is Friday. This is a different day at school. The lessons start at 8:30 and finish at 2:30 so I have the afternoon free. After school, I go home and I have lunch with my mother because she’s got the afternoon free too. When I finish lunch I relax a little bit because I’m tired. One hour later I do all the homework for the following week. In the evening I go with my friends to the chuch in Banyoles where we sing and play the guitar. I love it because I stay with my friends and I really like playing the guitar. I don’t have a guitar but I’m asking for one this Christmas. I like Fridays too because I can go to bed later.
